Payday loan to cover stocking fillers
(07 December 2005)

Britons are waiting for over £6.2 billion of expensive stocking filler presents this year, leaving many looking for quick credit to keep their loved ones happy.

Research from Lloyds TSB insurance found that the diminutive iPod Nano is high on many people's stocking filler want lists, with over a quarter of those surveyed saying that they would like to find the mp3 player in the morning.

Other expensive items, such tickets to see Robin Williams at Wembley, the Playstation Portable, an engagement ring and a Blackberry personal information manager were all popular amongst interviewees.

Many will need to borrow to be able to afford the expensive gifts that some are expecting on December 25th. Those who need a quick cash advance ASAP could do worse than to look into a payday loan, which can be paid back on receipt of your monthly wage slip.

Lloyds TSB recommended that customers are careful of their goods during Christmas, making sure that the season does not become a festival for burglars as well as for the family.

"For some, Christmas can end in tears when Santa isn't the first visitor to arrive carrying a sack. With burglars on the prowl it's doubly important to make sure doors and windows are locked tight whenever your home is empty," said Phil Loney, managing director of Lloyds TSB insurance.
